Kosciusko County has always been home.
From serving our community in law enforcement to continuing to stay involved with local events and organizations, I’ve always believed that strong communities come from people who care enough to show up and serve.
As I run for County Commissioner, my focus is simple: responsible leadership, transparency, and making sure our county continues to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
I’d love to hear from you — what are the issues you care most about in Kosciusko County?
Lifelong Kosciusko County resident and a 1986 graduate of Tippecanoe Valley High School. I can proudly say I have spent decades serving the community.
Public Service
• U.S. Army Reserve (1987–1992)
• Winona Lake Police Department
• 25 years with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office
• Lieutenant in the Patrol Division
• Jail Commander (2012–2017)
During my time with the Sheriff’s Office, I helped manage department budgets and prepared reports for the county council, commissioners, and judges.
Following my retirement in 2019, I continued serving the region as Deputy Chief of Police for Parkview Health, where I, oversee security operations across multiple hospital facilities.
Community Involvement
I have always believed in giving back to the community. Over the years I have:
• Coached football and track at Tippecanoe Valley High School
• Coached Mentone Little League Baseball
• Coached Pee Wee Football in Warsaw
• Volunteered as a firefighter with the Winona Lake Fire Department
I am lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and is active in the Masonic Lodge, Mizpah Shrine Club, and the Kosciusko County Fair Board.
My wife Ann and I have been married for 35 years and live outside Mentone. We have been blessed with two children and two grandchildren. We are proud members of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Warsaw.
I am running for County Commissioner to continue serving the people of Kosciusko County with experience, accountability, and a commitment to the community.
The May primary is approaching fast and I am looking forward to your vote.
